Product Application: Step-by-step Instructions

Preparation

● Wash your hands with soap and water and then dry them with a clean towel or paper towel. If soap and water aren’t available, use hand sanitisers instead.

Using the VirX Nitric Oxide Spray

● Close the nostril that is not receiving the medication. Do this by gently pressing on that side of your nose.
● Gently insert the bottle tip into the other nostril.
● Breathe in deeply through the nostril as you squeeze the bottle.
● Repeat if directed. Wait at least 10 seconds between sprays.
● If directed, repeat steps 1–4 for the other nostril.

Finishing up

● Put the cap back on the bottle of the VirX Nitric Oxide Spray.
● Wash your hands to remove any medication.
● Store the bottle at room temperature (below 30°C). Do not freeze.

Nitric oxide is a small gaseous molecule also known as nitrogen monoxide, with the chemical formula NO. Nitric oxide is a housekeeping molecule naturally produced by human cells.

It has a role in a variety of our bodies’ operating functions including regulation of blood circulation, immune response, wound healing, and nervous system signalling.

It also helps in providing protection against various pathogens including bacteria, viruses, and fungi.

WHAT IS VIRX NASAL SPRAY?

VirX is a Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray in Hong Kong that releases a small dose of nitric oxide that physically blocks viruses, reduces infection risk, and kills 99.9% of airborne viruses* within 2 mins in the upper airways. VirX is a Nitric Oxide spray intended to use as a protective mechanical barrier against viruses within the nasal cavity. It is applicable whenever you have to go to a high-risk area in Hong Kong (confined, crowded places, or places with poor air ventilation).

WHAT TYPE OF CONTAMINANTS AND VIRUSES IS VIRX SPRAY EFFECTIVE AGAINST? IS VIRX NASAL SPRAY TOXIC OR HARMFUL TO HEALTH?

VirX Nitric Oxide Spray is effective in protecting you against all types of viruses and contaminants (bacteria, dust, foreign particles) present on the nasal mucosa.

As a physical and chemical barrier to airborne viruses, VirX is designed to block also COVID-19 viruses, just as other respiratory viruses that can be transmitted through the air. In addition to its anti-coronavirus activity, VirX Nitric Oxide Spray also acts against other respiratory viruses including H1N1, Human Rhinovirus (HRV)-14 (Common cold), and Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV).

VirX Nasal Spray increases the amount of Nitric Oxide (NO) in our nostrils to kill respiratory viruses. NO is a nano, housekeeping molecule that is produced naturally by our own cells to maintain our body’s operation.

VirX Nasal Spray releases a topical, small amount of NO. The amount of nitric oxide from NONS is not enough to be absorbed systemically (bioavailability is nil) nor inhaled during NONS administration.

During the clinical study, except for mild nasal discomfort, no major side effects occurred with the use of Nitric Oxide Nasal Spray.

HOW LONG CAN I USE VIRX NASAL SPRAY? CAN I USE VIRX WHILE USING OTHER TREATMENTS?

VirX Nitric Oxide Spray is intended to be used as a protective mechanical barrier against viruses within the nasal cavity. It is advised to use 2-3 times daily or up to 6 times per day, to maintain an effective barrier against viruses. Do not use VirX for more than 30 days consecutively. If necessary, it is suggested to take a break from using it for a few days before using it again. (Please refer to user instructions).

VirX is a physical barrier that would not be absorbed by the body, so it may be used with any other treatments. For best results, it is suggested to avoid other immediate use of nasal sprays or similar treatments, for at least 30 minutes after using VirX.
